Novelty Woodworks is a one-person custom furniture shop in Novelty, Ohio, built on a simple belief: furniture should be handed down, not thrown out.
The maker
I've been building furniture for [X] years, and Novelty Woodworks is where that work found a home. Every piece — from a dining table down to a cutting board — is designed, cut, joined, and finished by me, at one bench in Novelty, Ohio.
I don't outsource, I don't flat-pack, and I don't hide particleboard under a veneer. If I put my stamp on it, it's solid wood and honest joinery, and I'll tell you exactly how it was made.
Why “Novelty”
The name comes from my hometown — Novelty, Ohio, out in Geauga County. It's a small place, and the joke writes itself: there's nothing novel about what I do. Just good wood, sharp tools, time-tested joinery, and the patience to do it right. That's the whole philosophy, and it's stamped on everything that leaves the shop and heads out across Northeast Ohio.
